For thousand of years, the therapeutic use of essential oils from aromatic plants has been utilized for the maintenance and restoration of health. Essential oils, believed to possess the most concentrated aspect of a plant, can create healing and promote well-being when applied on the skin or ingested. In this class, Suzana Jelovecki, L.Ac., will introduce you to innovative approaches to medical aromatherapy in a framework of Chinese Medicine energetics. The focus will be on using some of the most common essential oils on acupuncture points, recipes for simple and pleasurable oil blends, guidance on how to choose high quality oils and on proper and responsible application to avoid toxicity and other harmful effects.

Registration for classes is required. Classes are free (unless noted) and open to the public, and are held in the meeting room at GreenStar Cooperative Market’s West-End Store.
